To be honest, I don't use KONTAKT very much.
(Because I rarely use live instruments)
If you use it, it's Output's Signal.
If you like live sound, you should buy it, but if you don't have a specific sound source, you don't have to buy it.
KONTAKT quickly fills up with storage, so purchasing additional storage is a pain.
(With SSD, you can buy a new sound source at that cost.)
I think KOMPLETE is better than buying KONTAKT alone.
(If you are not interested in synths, KONTAKT alone is fine.)
Now that Select comes with the KOMPLETE KONTROL M32, I think it's cheap to buy it and get a half-price summer sale.
