My personal favorite sound source PX V8 is on sale.
PX V8 is a sound source that samples and reproduces Voyetra Eigh.
It seems that there are not many actual machines in existence, and there are quite a fewHigh price (over 100 million sold!)are traded at
PX V8It features a powerful sound that won't get lost in the orchestra.
Warnings
Since it is a sampled sound source, it requires about 8GB of space.
Also, if possible, SSD (M.2) will take less time to load when changing presets.
Sound demo
Over 400 presets are included and categorized.
I tried playing the preset.
There are two oscillators, and many of the factory presets swing each oscillator left and right, so listening with headphones may feel strange.
In that case, moving the Pan closer to the center will solve the problem.
It has a built-in arpeggiator, and the fatness of the sound and the glittering sound when playing a single note are very pleasant, so please listen to it.
The melody line below also uses PX V8.
It really has a strong presence and is easy to use.
The plugin pictured below is on saleMovement.
Sale venue
It's on sale at VSTBUZZ.
Overview
Boitetra Eight – the driving force behind the PX V8
Released by Octave-Plateau Electronics in 1982, this discreet 3-space rackmount synth is an analog power spot with eight voice cards and a very deep modulation system. With six pages of customizable parameters, Voyetra Eight is flexible, but ultimately it's the sound that counts, and it doesn't disappoint.
With nuances on each voice card and a powerful unison mode, Voyetra Eight delivers lush, powerful leads, fat basses, warm, modulating pads, strings, and more, all without compromise.
The Voyetra Eight is a unique instrument that packs a big analog punch in a small frame and sounds like more than the sum of its parts, lost in time.
The PX V8 was a passion project, and it took UVI two years to track down the Voyetra Eight, and a fair amount of work to restore it to factory condition.Sound designers learned the structure of the instrument, designed patches, explored possibilities, recorded and edited, and spent over six months crafting sounds on Voyetra for the PX V2.
Before deciding on Vovox and Prism, we tested numerous cable and converter configurations to ensure the highest quality sound experience, and the results are clear.
PX V8 plug-in
PX V8's sampling is per-key for all designed patches, with or without unison mode, allowing you to enable true hardware unison on any sound in your library.Like the Voyetra Eight, you can load two layers at the same time and turn on unison mode to create really heavy analog sounds without worrying about the 2 voice limit.
The PX-V8 comes with 10 presets consisting of 176 layers divided into 400 categories including bass, brass, keyboards, leads, misses, organ, pads, poly, strings and waveforms.
Each sound is fully customizable and can be used as is or as a starting point for new sounds. There are also raw waveforms available for those who want to create sounds from scratch.
The PX V8 aesthetic has been adapted to faithfully mimic the design cues coming from the hardware, with oscillators, envelopes, multimode filters, LFOs and step modulators, dual arpeggiator, EQs, drives, saucers, ensembles, phasers, delays, Easily tweak and edit functional effects sections such as spark verbs to get the feel of the original instrument.
