Introducing PseudoStereo's LA2A type comp plug-in Boost CMP 2

Today I would like to introduce PseudoStereo's plug-in.

This plugin is also great.

Boost CMP 2 is LA2A type, but it is a slightly unusual plug-in with attack, release, clipper and limiter.

The limiter can be turned on and off freely, so it is very welcome from the sound design point of view.

Sound demo

I changed the parameters while playing the drums.

Gain match.

The default order is Limiter>Comp>Clipper.

You can also use a limiter to cut the peak first and apply it to the compressor.

You can also adjust the Pre volume by clicking the button below "OUT".

Pre here is like the volume before the clipper, and you can adjust the volume that goes into the clipper with this knob.

I played it with the chord and played it with On and Off.

Loudness is the same, only this changes.

It can be used as an effect for actively changing the sound.

You can change the routing by pressing the "PB" button.

I tried swapping the compressor and limiter.

Installation

When you unzip the downloaded file, VST2 version and VST3 version are stored.

Most people unzip the VST3 version (Boost CMP 2_v 2.0_WIN_VST3 x64 (Yuri Semenov).zip).

Put the "Boost CMP 2" folder inside into the following VST3 folder.

C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST3

For presets, put "Yuri Semenov" in "VST3 Presets" in the unzipped folder in the following folder.

C:\Users\yosi\Documents\VST3 Presets

It will automatically recognize presets.

There is only one default preset, but if you don't save your own presets, you will have to create your own folder.

 Summary

All of these are really great.

There are other plug-ins that I haven't been able to introduce yet, so I will introduce them steadily.
