Introducing Philspeiser's highly visual and easy-to-use compression plugin THE_COMPRESSOR

Today I would like to introduce Philspeiser's compression plug-in THE_COMPRESSOR.

Since the waveform is displayed, it is easy to adjust the threshold.

It also has an auto mode "MAGIC" that automatically sets the settings.

Attack and release can be matched to BPM, and side chain is also supported.

It's amazing that this is free.

Sound demo

I tried "MAGIC".

Even though it's free, it's nice to be able to set it up automatically.

Overview

Rethinking compression

I recently realized that I should make a tutorial about compression. Because, to be honest, when he first started making music, he was putting compressors on everything without really understanding what compressors were doing.

While planning the tutorial, I was frustrated because I couldn't find a compressor that was as smart and intuitive as I thought it would be in 2024.

So I decided to develop THE_COMPRESSOR. This compressor is designed to sound professional yet easy to use, showing you exactly how to improve your music. My goal was to make top quality compression accessible so that anyone can get professional results without the hassle.

magic mode

Once I was able to use this plug-in as I intended, I realized, ``Yes, with this compressor, I can easily show anyone how to apply perfect compression!''

And then it occurred to me: “Anyone” also includes machines. So I taught them about the plugin itself.

This is MAGIC MODE.

Just tell THE_COMPRESSOR what you want to do and it will dial in the perfect settings for you.

After thorough testing, 100% of the time it came out with the same or better settings than I had set.

Download

Downloading requires a purchase procedure.

In my environment, I was unable to log in using Chrome.

After completing the purchase procedure, you can download it from a portal-like app.

There is no problem if you use Edge.

Transition from the above link and click "ADD TO CART".

Click "Checkout" in the lower right

Click “I wanna got started!”

Enter the name and click "Next"

Enter your email address and click "Next"

Enter your password and click "Next"

It seems better not to include the symbol.

Enter your postal code, select your country and click "Done"

Click "Complete payment"

Click "Click here to access your products"

Click the appropriate OS.

Installation

When you unzip the downloaded file, an installer will appear. Run it to install "PHIL SPEISER CONTROL CENTER".

Start "PHIL SPEISER CONTROL CENTER" from Start.

You will be asked for your account, so enter it and click "LOGIN".

Once you are able to log in, "THE_COMPRESSOR" will be displayed in "YOUR PRODUCTS", so click it and click "INSTALL".

Once the download is complete, you will be able to press "INSTALL", so click "INSTALL"

The installer will run, so just install by default and it will be completed.
