Speaking of Eventide's H3000, I think that Sunreco readers have seen it at least once.
If you look at Yahoo Auctions, there are still quite a fewtrade highIt is done.
In Japan, it is famous as the equipment used by Mr. Matsumoto of B'z and Mr. Komuro of TMN.
Overseas, it is used quite a bit in Steve Vai's Passion And Warfare.
Some of the H3000 algorithms are plug-ins.
(It is not a complete reproduction of H3000)
I checked, but it seems that there are several editions of H3000, and the number of algorithms and presets are different.
There may be more in the future.

The plug-in version of H3000 Factory comes with over 100 new artist presets.

There are a lot of chaos, but I think it's easy to handle because it's tempo-synced even in chaos.
(It feels like it was assembled with intention rather than being randomly chaotic)

Since the design concept is based on the hardware, there are cases where recent plug-ins can be done in one step, but can only be done in two or three steps.
For example, knobs that can be assigned parameters are called Macros in Serum, etc., and the H3000 Factory has a similar mechanism called "Soft Keys."
However, there is a wasteful operation of selecting the four "Soft Keys" and operating the parameters with the large knob on the right.
And "Soft Keys" need to be set in the "FUNCTION" tab.
(It is not possible to assign by right-clicking)

The internal algorithm is similar to the hardware, so it will normally clip on excess input.
When clipping, you can avoid clipping by lowering In.
(However, it is more convenient to lower the volume of the original sound source.)
Recommended points
Although there are dissatisfaction, the sound output is different from the recent plug-ins.
There is a function of "SNAP SHOTS" as a plug-in original function.
This has "GLOBAL" and "CURRENT", and "GLOBAL" can store up to 16 favorite presets in the button.
If you put the presets that you always use in "SNAP SHOTS", you can call them immediately.
(If you click a number while pressing Ctrl, the current preset will be assigned to that number.)
My personal recommendation is "CURRENT", which stores 16 variations for each preset.
There are 1 different variations in one preset, and with 16 presets, there are 450 variations.
As a workflow, I think it's good to search for presets, and if you find something that looks good, try a variation.
