Overview
The AX Chorus is based on the ACE model MN73 Bucket Brigade (BBD) chip found in the AX60 and AX3009 synthesizers.We developed the plug-in to be 100% identical to the mono input chorus found on the original synthesizer, and added the option to turn it into a stereo effect.
Since Akai didn't release the chorus separately, we put the AX1980 and AX73 chorus into one unit, imagining the chorus of the 60s.
AX Chorus comes as a VST 2.4 or AU (Audio Units) effect plug-in, meaning it needs to work within a VST or AU host software (Ableton Live, Cubase, GarageBand, Logic Pro, REAPER, Studio One, etc.) To do.
AX Chorus will work at any sample rate provided by the host, but a rate of at least 44.1 kHz is recommended. AX Chorus is designed to run on Windows 7 or newer, or Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or newer.
