Wilkinson AudioMesa Boogie's IR is now packedGod's Cab v1.3Is being distributed for free.

This was a little scary.

It is prepared for each sampling rate, and 150 IRs are recorded for each microphone.

Also included are files that can be read by AX-FX II.

What's more, it's wonderful that the manual is attached properly.

Since it is a good idea, in addition to the download method, I will explain the types of IR described in the manual.

How to download

Explaining the types of IR

As you can see in the folder, there are quite a lot of IRs.

First of all, there are folders for each sampling rate and AX-FX in the first hierarchy.

The hierarchy below it is for each microphone.

The types of microphones are as follows.

The layers below it are "TS" and "NO-TS".

The difference between the two is whether or not they are through the Ibanez TS9 Tube screamer.

It seems that it is passed to raise the midrange, not to add distortion.

(Settings are Drive0, Tone12 o'clock, Level12 o'clock)

The image below shows the frequency characteristics of "NO-TS".

The image below is "TS".

Certainly the midrange has risen firmly.

File name naming convention

There are some examples in the manual, so I will post the translation as it is.

57_grill_edge_pres_4.wav

-57 is the name of the microphone (SM57).
-Grill is the distance of the microphone from the grill cloth (the grill means touching the grill cloth).
・ Edge refers to the end of the dust cap of the speaker.

SM7B_TS_2_inch_cone_far_pres_3.wav

-SM7b is the name of the microphone (Shure SM7b).
-It means that the TS tube screamer is operating.
・ 2_inch is the distance of the microphone from the grill cloth.
・ Pres_3 is the presence setting (higher is brighter).

U87_2_feet_pres_3.wav

・ U87 is the name of the microphone (Neumann U87)
・ 2_feet is the distance of the microphone (capsule) from the grill cloth.
・ Pres_3 is what the presence of the power amplifier is set to (high = bright).

NT5_stereo_live_room_pres_4.wav

-NT5 is the name of the microphone (Rode NT5)
・ Stereo means stereo impulse, and the left and right channels are separated.
The IR of live_room was shot in a large open room, and another set (dead_room) was shot in a small acoustically attenuated space.
-Pres_4 sets the presence of the power amplifier (higher is brighter).
