Introducing Bitty, a bit crusher with Tom Coote's modulation capabilities
Today I would like to introduce Tom Coote's bit crusher Bitty with modulation function.
Tom Coote does not have a website, but publishes plug-ins on Youtube.
It takes a lot of effort to set up and run a site, so it's a good way to do it.
Sound demo
Bitty says that the bit crusher has a modulation function, but my impression of using it is that it modulates the noise component.
I put it on a synth.
I hung it on Phoscyon 2.
By changing the "SUCK" parameter, you can get an effect like a formant filter.
Overview
My second attempt at writing an audio plugin in C++ is bitcrusher with added wobble, so I feel like I had no choice but to call it "Bitty" and provide decent graphics and presets .
format
Win VST3 (64bit)
Download
You can download it without registration.
You can download from the link in the comment section after transitioning from the link above.
Clicking the link will take you to DropBox, so click "Download".
Installation
Installation is OK if you unzip the downloaded file and put the VST3 file "Bitty.vst3" in the following path.
C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ VST3
Summary
I think "Bitty" is good, but it doesn't seem to work well with FL Studio, probably due to a bug.
In Bitwig it was fine, but in FL Studio, when I increased the "NOISE" parameter, it made a strange sound.
In some cases you may need to enable "Use fixed size buffers".
