Only Win32bit as in the example.

Also, it's the most difficult legacy I've introduced so far, so please ignore it if you don't like the hassle.

Proteus VX, which used to be free to download, has been redesigned from the E-mu site itself and the downloadable page has disappeared.

For some reason, it is still popular on the KVR page, so I searched for it and found information that it can still be downloaded on the storage site.

However, it is sad that such a predominant maker has disappeared and it has become an incomprehensible headphone maker. (It's really sad to have a Proteus 2000)

Overview of Proteus VX

Proteus VX borrows an internal architecture from his brother Emulator X3. The Proteus VX does not have the extensive editing capabilities of the Emulator X3, but it does provide 16 consecutive controllers for each preset. With 16 controllers, you can make subtle to radical changes to your sound and store them in your bank.

The included v2.01 Proteus X Composer bank comes with over 2000 presets that cover the vast sound of the Proteus 1000 MIDI Sound Module.In addition, Proteus VX can load sounds from the Emulator X library as long as it can be loaded into the system RAM (Proteus VX does not support sample streaming).

Proteus VX is not copy-protected or card-locked like other versions of equipment and sampling software, and can be used as VSTi or in standalone mode.

Precautions for Proteus VX

There are two problems just to find out.

1. How to avoid the problem of timing shift

Set "Use fixed size buffers" to On.

I think this will avoid the problem of the sound timing being off.

2. Workaround for freezing when saving from FL Studio

This is quite annoying,It freezes as soon as you enable FL Studio's autosave feature.

Therefore, let's turn off the auto save function first.

The freeze avoidance method when saving a song is easy, and you can avoid it by saving it on the "Proteus VX" side and then saving the project in FL Studio.
