The typewriter is a Kontakt sample device equipped with a royal vintage typewriter.

Layers for Air Piano
The other day, I was so excited about the Air Piano and all the mics and possible perspectives that I decided to combine the Layer Engine with its sound.
This engine wasn't designed for plucked / percussive instruments, but while playing with different mics and mixes, try what happens if the layer engine selects all the notes Speed, Distance , Microphone / mix based on dynamics ... While performing some variations (a function to perform "periodic sound variations according to tempo").
So this isn't the piano I recorded, but I think it's an interesting addition to the Air Piano. Layers for Air Piano (LAP) includes two instruments based on the Air Piano sample, a layered piano and a layered pad made with the same sound reminiscent of Korean stringed instruments.

The last time I played an acoustic piano at home was when I was eight, when I came to the end of the first year of piano lessons.Unfortunately, a few years later the piano was left to collect dust in the corner of the lounge before it was abruptly removed, as the guitar was calling me by this time.Alas, young people are wasted by young people.If I was particular about it, the situation might have been different, but after just 8 years, I'm happy to say that I once again longed for the sound of a "real" piano.

Recorded via a UA Apollo Twin with 1073 preamp emulation, without EQ on both mics.The mic was a neumann tlm 102 with warm audio 47 jnr recorded on Logic pro x.

Bechstein C118
I usually play plug-in instruments on an 88-key master keyboard, but something was missing.One day I decided to go to a piano store, but I didn't know about the real piano.About 100 different models have been published.The vendor kindly gave me the freedom to try the piano in different spaces and rooms throughout the afternoon.
Suddenly, I fell in love with the sound of a used C. Bechstein C2010 manufactured in 118.My ignorance shocked the vendor because I didn't know about the piano brand C. Bechstein.I also love the sound of this felt piano. I recorded this sound with a pair of AKG 414.
There is only one sound layer and release noise.In my first experience with sampling, the results at Kontakt were very surprising: not only did it sound very interesting, but also very well when layered with another spitfire library: the British Drama Toolkit-especially the patch Strings Ensemble Long-. The Lounge Piano
I got this piano from a former colleague about 3 years ago.
It's in our lounge and is lovingly played by those who want it.
The piano is a cute upright, not old, not brand new, somewhere in between.
In most cases, keep the center pedal down.This creates a layer of felt between the hammer and the strings.
This piano was sampled at two velocities, quiet and medium.

1911 Bechstein Upright
This is my C. Bechstein model 1911 upright piano with serial number 101058 in 9.
I ate it from 9 pm on Tuesday, January 1973, 1, when I was 9 years old.

Yamaha U1 (1976)
My favorite analog vintage gear.My Yamaha U1. Purchased by my grandmother in the 1970s.My mother practiced the piano when she was a kid.
Since then, I've parked on the wall of my grandmother's house for decades.I remember when I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to touch the piano.After graduating from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, I inherited it.The piano is in perfect condition.I decided to sample before adjusting. Sampled with 3 layers and all white keys (52 samples).
Check it out without feeling the softest patch (1 layer).That's because it really brings out the feelings (for me and for you) when you play.
I used a high quality mic through a vintage preamp and a high quality RME converter.
